  8. Lu Yu's "Classic of Tea" 
  9. praises greenware tea 
  10. bowls as the finest, 
  11. followed by white ware.  
  12. The straight ring foot at 
  13. the base of this bowl, 
  14. and its lipped rim, are 
  15. typical of the late T'ang 
  16. style.
